Amanda Garza

I started boxing at 16 because I wanted to feel strong and confident.  I loved it so much that I eventually competed at the amateur level and finally turned pro before switching my love of throwing punches in the ring to coaching others in the art of boxing.

Alongside fitness, my big family of six has my heart.  My wife and I are raising our four kiddos together, so when I’m not training clients or teaching at Duo, I’m most likely hanging with the family.

Movement background: sports enthusiast (played sports in high school & college)

Why REFORMER: I love Reformer because each class challenges you in a new way. I never get bored of the movement and forever leave feeling stronger.

Fun fact: I am a forensic scientist. I am also a huge fan of live music and have attended over 150 concerts.

Movement background: dance degree from The University of Arizona, professional dancer with Artifact Dance Project, teach for Houston Ballet & HSPVA

Why REFORMER: Reformer is versatile and user friendly. Reformer provides an opportunity to structure diverse & challenging full body workouts no matter where you are in your fitness journey. 

Class vibe: Emotional. Challenging. Encouraging.

Fun fact: I’m a pianist for the Houston Ballet.

Nataly Uribe

Class Format: REFORMER

Movement background: gymnastics teacher, swim instructor, yoga teacher, body builder

Why REFORMER: I love that Reformer feels like a perfect combo between expanding+contracting the body. I love the intentional focus on breath+movement and the possibilities for progression at all levels.

Fun fact: My passion is hosting mindfulness+yoga retreats.

Movement background: Taekwondo, dance & 2.5 years of reformer

Why REFORMER: Reformer is dynamic & never boring. Reformer helps me feel stronger physically & mentally, overall enhancing my well-being.

Movement background: former orthopedic representative specializing in hips & knees 

Why REFORMER: I love that Reformer is for everyone. Reformer is one of the only fitness formats that spans all fitness levels, all age groups and all body types while safely providing physical and mental benefits.

Fun fact: I am a huge UT football fan. I graduated from Texas, and I proudly bleed burnt orange. Hook ‘em!

Movement background: Indoor cycle instructor for 4 years, Reformer enthusiast

Why REFORMER: The Reformer is such a good complement to my indoor cycling practice. After starting Reformer, I felt such a change in my strength + control abilities.
